    AN ACT concerning regulation.
 
    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
represented in the General Assembly:
 
    Section 5. The Pharmacy Practice Act is amended by adding 
Section 45 as follows:
 
    (225 ILCS 85/45 new)
    Sec. 45. Pharmaceutical recall notice sign-up. Every 
pharmacy licensed in this State shall post in a conspicuous 
place near the pharmacy counter and drive-up window, a sign 
that includes a QR code informing patients of the ability to 
sign up for medication recalls via the United States Food and 
Drug Administration website. The Department may adopt rules 
necessary to implement this Section.
 
    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January
