SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Betty Dolores Allred of Alton, who passed 
4away on March 8, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Betty Allred was born in Alton to Edward Louis and 
6Helen (Foval) Leady on May 16, 1927; she married Donald B. 
7Allred at St. Patrick Church in Alton on June 18, 1949; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Betty Allred was a homemaker; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Betty Allred was a member of St. Patrick Parish 
10and then St. Ambrose Parish; she was a member of the Mothers 
11Club at St. Patrick; she enjoyed watching birds outside her 
12window and spending time with her family; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Betty Allred was preceded in death by her husband, 
14Donald, and her parents; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Betty Allred is survived by her three children, 
16Donna (Bob) Konneker, Bruce (Ann) Allred, and Joseph (Carolyn) 
17Allred; her five grandchildren, Emily Allred, Andrea Allred, 
18Joseph Konneker, Jesse Konneker, and Brent Allred; and her two 
19great-grandchildren, Marleigh Konneker and Michael Allred;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Betty Dolores Allred, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Betty Allred as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
