<SynopsisText>     Creates the Englewood Violent Crime Task Force to: (1) study and determine the causes of violent crime in Englewood and nearby affected communities; (2) study and determine the feasibility of deploying the Illinois State Police to Englewood and nearby affected communities and neighborhoods; (3) develop a comprehensive long-term solution to the effect of violent crime in the Englewood and nearby affected communities; (4) recommend a plan of action to substantially reduce the incidents of violent crime in Englewood and nearby affected communities; and (5) draft any necessary legislation and make any necessary recommendations for appropriations to place the plan of action into immediate effect.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Floor Amendment No. 3</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Replaces everything after the heading with similar language. Adds the Director of the State Police or his or her designee as a member to the Englewood Violent Crime Task Force. States that the Task Force shall review and analyze the Illinois State Police's headcount and minimum staffing levels in the Chicago area, calls for service, annual overtime cost, and other factors that would be relevant to a Illinois State Police presence in the Englewood community. States that the Task Force shall conduct a thorough review and analysis of the 2014 detail between Illinois State Police and the Chicago Police Department's fugitive apprehension unit in Chicago. Corrects the number of residents of the 32nd Representative District that have signed a petition for Illinois State Police assistance in their communities. Designates one of the 2 members of the Illinois House of Representatives chosen by the Minority Leader of the Illinois House of Representatives as a co-chair of the Task Force. Designates the Illinois State Police as the agency responsible for reimbursing the members of the Task Force. Adds the Mayor of the City of Chicago and the Mayor of the City of East St. Louis to the list of recipients of a copy of the resolution. Changes the date that the Task Force shall report its findings and recommendations and submit any and all proposed legislation to the Governor and General Assembly to on or before December 31, 2016.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
