<reference>30 ILCS 105/5.875 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>625 ILCS 5/3-699.15 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Fund as a special fund in the State treasury. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides for the issuance of U.S. Coast Guard license plates. Provides that an applicant shall pay $20 for the original issuance of the plate, in addition to any appropriate registration fees. Of this fee, $5 shall be deposited into the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Fund and $15 shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that for each registration renewal period, an applicant shall pay a $20 fee in addition to any appropriate registration fees. Of this fee, $18 shall be deposited into the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Fund and $2 shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that money in the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Fund shall be paid as grants for charitable purposes and financial assistance programs sponsored by Coast Guard Mutual Assistance, Inc.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
