<reference>510 ILCS 70/3.01</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 8, par. 703.01</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Humane Care for Animals Act. Provides that no person may tail dock a dog without a veterinarian attesting that the procedure is medically necessary. Provides that a violation of this provision is a Class A misdemeanor for the first conviction, and a second or subsequent conviction is a Class 4 felony.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
