<reference>110 ILCS 947/15</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Higher Education Student Assistance Act. Removes the prohibition on allowing the student member of the Illinois Student Assistance Commission to receive a scholarship or grant pursuant to the Act during his or her term of office with the Commission. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Floor Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the contents of the introduced bill with the following changes: Includes the recognized advisory committee of students of the Illinois Community College Board (rather than the Illinois Student Association and the Organization of Community College Students) in the list of student organizations from which the student member of the Illinois Student Assistance Commission may be nominated. Provides that a student appointee's status on the Commission may not be considered in determining his or her eligibility for programs administered by the Commission. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
