<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>30 ILCS 105/5.866 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>625 ILCS 5/3-699.14 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the Illinois Veterans' Homes Fund as a special fund in the State treasury. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to provide for the issuance of Illinois Veterans' Homes plates. Exempts issuance of Illinois Veterans' Homes plates from the requirement that 10,000 applications for the plates be received before the Secretary may issue the plates. Provides that the applicant shall pay an additional fee of $26 for original issuance of the plates, of which $11 shall be deposited into the Illinois Veterans' Homes Fund and $15 shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that an additional fee of $26 shall be charged for each renewal, of which $24 shall be deposited into the Illinois Veterans' Homes Fund and $2 shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that money in the Illinois Veterans' Homes Fund shall be paid as grants to the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs to support the homes of Illinois' veterans.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Committee Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
