<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>70 ILCS 920/5.3b new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Tuberculosis Sanitarium District Act. Provides that a tuberculosis sanitarium district entirely within a county with a population of less than 500,000 may dissolve by resolution of the county board. Further provides that in order to dissolve the district, there must be a county health department servicing the entire county which will assume responsibility for tuberculosis care; the board of directors of the tuberculosis sanitarium district must agree by resolution to be dissolved; and that the resolution of the county board must (1) allow an additional tax not to exceed 0.05% of the value as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue for the benefit of the board of health, (2) provide for the transfer of assets and liabilities of the district, (3) provide for the assumption of responsibility for patient care, and (4) provide for an increase in the members on the county board of health.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
