Deletes provision that the period of probation for a minor who is found to be guilty for an offense which is a forcible felony, other than first degree murder or a Class X felony, shall be at least 5 years.House Committee Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Provides that the period of probation for a minor who is found to be guilty for an offense which is first degree murder, second degree murder, criminal sexual assault, a Class X felony, or an attempt Class X felony shall be at least 5 years.
