SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Leona M. Ream of Ingleside, who passed 
4away on October 25, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Leona Ream was born on March 1, 1923 in Grand 
6Haven, Michigan to George and Sophia (nee Olhara) Michal; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Leona Ream was a registered beauty culture teacher 
8in her early years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Leona Ream loved to help anyone in need; she 
10enjoyed playing cards with her girlfriends on every 1st 
11Thursday of the month for the past 15 years and cherished 
12spending time with her beloved grandchildren; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Leona Ream was preceded in death by her husband, 
14Dr. Walter J. Ream, Jr.; her son, Walter J. Ream, III; and her 
15grandson, Justin Ream; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Leona Ream is survived by her children, MaryLee 
17Vales and Scott (Carol) Ream; her grandchildren, Desiree 
18Hajduk, Shelley (David) Bauer, and Darin Vales; and her 
19great-grandchildren, Joshua, Kaleb, Colton, and Skye;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Leona M. Ream, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Leona Ream as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
