SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Robert Charles "Bob" Bracco of Raleigh, 
4North Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was born on July 22, 1961 in Sioux 
6City, Iowa; he was raised in Oak Park; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Bob Bracco attended St. Edmund School and was a 
81979 graduate of Fenwick High School and a 1983 graduate of 
9Loras College, where he played football with great strength and 
10passion; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was employed as a construction 
12superintendent with Forever Homes; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was a member of St. Mary Magdalene 
14Parish in Apex, North Carolina; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was a fan of all Chicago sports, with 
16the exception of the Cubs; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was preceded in death by his parents, 
18Mike and Kay (nee Coughlin) Bracco; and

1    WHEREAS, Bob Bracco is survived by his wife, Diane (nee 
2Tunney) Bracco; a daughter, Anna; 9 siblings, Beth (John) 
3Bonanno, Dennis (Colleen), Michael (Karen), Larry (Jennifer), 
4Marty (Beth), Steven (Susan), Meg (Greg) Liebreich, Peter 
5(Melissa), and Barbara Sipes; his mother-in-law, Joan (the late 
6Thomas) Tunney; his extended Tunney family, Sue and Dave, TJ 
7and Debba, Robbie and Shelby, and Janie and Ron; 30 nieces and 
8nephews; and his dog, Sara; therefore, be it
  
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
11family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert Charles "Bob" 
12Bracco; and be it further
  
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
14presented to the family of Robert Bracco as an expression of 
15our sympathy.
