| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Rudolph W. Becker of Crystal Lake, who |
| 4 | | passed away on October 4, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker was born on January 1, 1934 in |
| 6 | | Elgin; his parents were Rudolf and Lottie (nee Marohn) Becker; |
| 7 | | and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker was a proud veteran of the United |
| 9 | | States Marine Corps during the Korean War; and |
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker worked for many years as a |
| 11 | | production manager at the Chrysler plant in Belvidere until his |
| 12 | | retirement; and |
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker enjoyed hiking, backpacking, and |
| 14 | | camping, music, dancing, books, history, traveling, |
| 15 | | researching music, old cars, and tractors, and spending time |
| 16 | | with his dog, Wally; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker was preceded in death by his |
| 18 | | parents and 2 brothers, Max and William; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker is survived by 2 siblings, |
