SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of George J. Wolf of Marengo, who passed 
4away on October 15, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, George Wolf was born in Philadelphia, 
6Pennsylvania on September 24, 1918 to Anton and Margaret (nee 
7Mundel) Wolf; he married Doloris Schildgen on October 3, 1959 
8at Sacred Heart Parish in Marengo; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, George Wolf retired from Dean Foods in Chemung 
10after 33 years of service; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, George Wolf was a former member of the Harvard 
12Moose Lodge No. 1289 and enjoyed golfing with friends, bowling, 
13and coaching the Indians in the Marengo-Union Little League 
14baseball program; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, George Wolf was preceded in death by his parents; 
16his first wife, Eileen Shields; an infant daughter, Marcelyn 
17Ann; his sister, Mary Jo Johnson; and his brother, Charles; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, George Wolf is survived by his wife of 55 years, 
19Doloris; 4 children, George (Sandy) Wolf, Eileen Wolf, Teresa 
20(Todd) Gray, and Christopher Wolf; and 3 grandchildren,

3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5George J. Wolf, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  George Wolf as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
