SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Brigid Anna Buzzard of Woodstock, who 
4passed away on October 3, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Brigid Buzzard was born in Houston, Texas on 
6December 4, 1981 to William and Joanne (nee Burke) Verkin; she 
7graduated from Clements High School in Surgar Land, Texas in 
82000; she married Michael Buzzard on January 22, 2011 in 
9Galveston, Texas and attended McHenry County College; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Brigid Buzzard was an active fundraiser for many 
11multiple sclerosis organizations such as "Race to Erase MS"; 
12and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Brigid Buzzard was preceded in death by her 
14mother, Joanne, and her grandparents, C.G. and Kathryn Verkin, 
15Sr.; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Brigid Buzzard is survived by her husband, 
17Michael; her father, Billy Verkin; a son, Madison Buzzard; 
18father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Carla Buzzard, Jr.; 
19paternal grandparents, Bill and Luanne Buzzard, Sr.; maternal 
20grandparents, George and Dolores Burke; and numerous aunts, 
21uncles, and cousins in both Illinois and Texas; therefore, be

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Brigid Anna Buzzard, and extend our sincere condolences to her  
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Brigid Buzzard as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
