SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Eunice Gloria Singfeldt of Oak Park, who 
4passed away on June 16, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Eunice Singfeldt was born on November 10, 1922 to 
6Knute and Hildur Singfeldt; she graduated from Wheaton College 
7in 1944 with a bachelor's degree in education and received her 
8master's degree in education from Northwestern University in 
91956; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Eunice Singfeldt taught for 44 years in the 
11Chicago Public Schools; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Eunice Singfeldt enjoyed traveling, visiting 
13several European countries and 44 states, including Alaska and 
14Hawaii; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, Eunice Singfeldt was preceded in death by her 
16parents; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Eunice Gloria Singfeldt, and extend our sincere condolences to 
20her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
