SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Naomi D. Williams of Oak Park, who passed 
4away on May 17, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Naomi Williams was born on July 7, 1919; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Naomi Williams was a past-member of the Nineteenth 
7Century Charitable Association, the Senior Citizens Center of 
8Oak Park-River Forest, and the River Forest Community Center, 
9and she was  a volunteer for the Economy Shop, the Community 
10Chest of Oak Park-River Forest, and the Oak Park Health 
11Department; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Naomi Williams was preceded in death by her son, 
13Robert; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Naomi Williams is survived by her children, 
15Richard (Rose Ann), Gail (James) Kennedy, and Thomas 
16(Elizabeth), and her grandchildren, Erin L. Woods and Amy 
17Kennedy Romero; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Naomi D. Williams, and extend our sincere condolences to her

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Naomi Williams as an expression of
