SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Geraldine Louise Fulton of Litchfield, 
4who passed away on October 25, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton was born in Gillespie on July 27, 
61921 to Elliott and Maude (nee Brooks) Duncan; she graduated 
7from Gillespie High School and married Robert Davies Fulton in 
8Gillespie on December 14, 1940; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton was a homemaker and a former 
10beautician in Gillespie; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton was a member of United Methodist 
12Church of Gillespie; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton was preceded in death by her 
14husband of 54 years, Robert; her parents; and a grandson, Scott 
15Fulton; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Geraldine Fulton is survived by 2 sons, Robert 
17(Pat) Fulton and Glenn (Renee) Fulton; granddaughter, Suzanne 
18(Baron) Stayton; grandsons, Bob (Lucinda) Fulton and Brad 
19(Julie) Fulton; 8 great-grandchildren, Miranda, Lydia, and 
20Samantha Fulton, Megan, Drew, and Jillian Stayton, and Braden

1and Brennan Fulton; 2 sisters, Wannie Kalaskie and Viola 
2Wenzel; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Geraldine Louise Fulton, and extend our sincere condolences to 
6her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  Geraldine Fulton as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
