| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Charles L. Leady of East Alton, who |
| 4 | | passed away on September 23, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Charles Leady was born on May 5, 1934 in Geff; his |
| 6 | | parents were Elmer F. and Julia M. (nee Martin) Leady; he |
| 7 | | married Norma L. Day on April 5, 1966 in Wood River; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Charles Leady was employed with the Brass Division |
| 9 | | of Olin Corporation for 42 years until his retirement; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Charles Leady was an active member of the United |
| 11 | | Pentecostal Church in Wood River for over 25 years; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Charles Leady was preceded in death by his |
| 13 | | parents; his loving wife, Norma; a daughter, Lucinda Bryant; |
| 14 | | and 2 great-grandchildren, Brittany Thrasher and Adam Vanhorn; |
| 15 | | and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Charles Leady is survived by 5 daughters, Tonya |
| 17 | | (Roger) Risinger, Dawn (Terry) Williams, Robin Farris, Belinda |
| 18 | | (Raymond) Edelen, and Laurie Monroe; 2 sons, Mark (Nancy) Leady |
| 19 | | and Drew (Shelley) Leady; a son-in-law, Carl Bryant; 7 |
| 20 | | grandchildren, Channah (Bryan) Thrasher, Amanda (Michael) |
