SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Gweneth Mae DePauw of Wauconda, who 
4passed away on July 11, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Gweneth DePauw was born June 23, 1929 in Delavan, 
6Wisconsin; her parents were Leonard and Anna (nee Griffith) 
7Jones; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Gweneth DePauw was a resident of Wauconda for 35 
9years before recently moving to Fox Lake; she was a devoted 
10wife and mother; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Gweneth DePauw was a member of First United 
12Methodist Church in McHenry, where she also enjoyed singing in 
13the choir; she also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her 
14grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Gweneth DePauw was preceded in death by her 
16husband, Frank; her parents; and a sister, Evelyn; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Gweneth DePauw is survived by 4 children, Dennis 
18(Ramona) DePauw, David (Leanne) DePauw, Diane (Michael) Hof, 
19and Donna (Steven) Hamilton; 13 grandchildren; 17 
20great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eleanor (the late John)

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Gweneth Mae DePauw; 
5and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Gweneth DePauw as an expression of 
8our sympathy.
