SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dominic Joseph Sacramento of Waukegan, 
4who passed away on May 27, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dominic Sacramento was a veteran of World War II, 
6serving in the United States Air Force in Japan; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dominic Sacramento retired as a manager with 
8Crystal Greeting in Waukegan in 1988 after 16 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dominic Sacramento was a member of the Gurnee 
10American Legion and St. Dismas Church in Waukegan; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Dominic Sacramento was preceded in death by his 
12parents, Joseph and Domenica; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Dominic Sacramento is survived by sister, Grace 
14(Frank) Schantz; 2 brothers, Joseph and Anthony (Lois) 
15Sacramento; nieces and nephews, Frank (Melinda) Schantz, Jr., 
16Mark (Martha) Schantz, Joann (Jeff) Cooksey, Anthony (Lynn) 
17Sacramento, Jr., Cindy (Pete) Rucks, Patti (Pat) Shanders, 
18Kathy (Scott) Kreul, and Rob (Mary) Sacramento; and 21 
19great-nieces and nephews;  therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Dominic Joseph Sacramento, and extend our sincere condolences 
4to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Dominic Sacramento as an expression 
8of our deepest sympathy.
