SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Frank L. Baasch of Lincolnshire, who 
4passed away on July 11, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Baasch was born in Chicago on April 8, 1926, 
6and was a former resident of Deerfield and Libertyville; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Frank Baasch owned the Baasch Dental Lab in 
8Lincolnshire and taught at Northwestern University; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Frank Baasch was past-president of the Illinois 
10Dental Laboratory Association, the Deerfield Rotary Club, and 
11served on the board of Success National Bank; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Frank Baasch was preceded in death by his parents, 
13Oscar  and Hilma Baasch and by his brother, Warren, and his 
14wife, Jocelyn Baasch; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Frank Baasch is survived by his friend and 
16companion, Kay Stucka; 2 children, Jody Springer (Jane Geers) 
17and Thomas Baasch; 6 grandchildren, Sarah (Jeroen) Vaneekeren, 
18Christopher (Leslie) Springer, Joshua (Erin) Springer, Ryan 
19(Alicia) Springer, Nathan Geers, and Kelly (Tyson) Hill; and 5 
20great-grandchildren, Addison, Isabella, Liam, Christopher, and

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Frank L. Baasch, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Frank Baasch as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
