SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Philip Crusius of Arlington Heights; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Philip Crusius was a self-employed software 
5engineer by trade; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Philip Crusius was a member of the Arlington 
7Heights Elementary School District 25 Board since 2009; he 
8first became involved with District 25 when his children were 
9students and volunteered many hours coaching Science Olympiad 
10at South Middle School, where his children attended; he also 
11served as the tech coordinator for the drama department at 
12South Middle School; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Philip Crusius served as an assistant scoutmaster 
14with the Boy Scouts and served as a volunteer with PADS 
15homeless shelters; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Philip Crusius was a member of United Methodist 
17Church; he also once ran for election to serve on the Arlington 
18Heights Village Board; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Philip Crusius is survived by his wife, Patty, and 
20his 2 children; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Philip Crusius; and be 
4it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Philip Crusius as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
