SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Jason John Mueller, who passed away on 
4July 12, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jason Mueller was born on May 30, 1987 in Downers 
6Grove; his parents were William Mueller and Sandra (nee Moffat) 
7Mueller; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jason Mueller served his country as a Ranger in 
9the United States Army; he served 2 tours of duty in Iraq and 
10one in Afghanistan, having received numerous commendations; 
11and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jason Mueller served with distinction as a police 
13officer with the Waukegan Police Department; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Jason Mueller is survived by his loving wife, 
15Katie (nee Saxon) Mueller; a daughter, Ava Marie Mueller; his 
16parents, William Mueller and Sandra Mueller; 3 siblings, 
17Matthew, Kristin, and Kaitlin Mueller; his parents-in-law, 
18Donald and Beth (nee Rollins) Saxon; his brother-in-law, Jake 
19(Caitlin) Saxon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family 
20members, and friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Jason John Mueller; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Jason Mueller as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
