SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Harold Hans Krecker of Crystal Lake, who 
4passed away on June 7, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Harold Krecker was born in Norwood Park on July 
616, 1925 to William and Elizabeth (nee Schulmeister) Krecker; 
7he married Erna Timm on April 7, 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran 
8Church in Crystal Lake; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Harold Krecker worked for Ormsby Motors in Crystal 
10Lake for 60 years; he served as Chief of the Crystal Lake Fire 
11and Rescue Department for over 34 years, going from volunteer 
12to full-time status, retiring on July 16, 1985; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Harold Krecker was an avid golfer, and enjoyed 
14fishing, hunting, traveling, and music; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Harold Krecker was preceded in death by his wife, 
16Erna; his parents; brother, Walter; and sister, Lorraine 
17Browder; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Harold Krecker is survived by his cherished 
19daughter, Cheryl (Jerry) Grouzard; treasured grandsons, Jeff 
20and Eric Grouzard; dear sisters, Eleanor Stegeman, Lucille

1(Bob) McAlvey, and Hulda Johnson; nieces and nephews; his 
2loving companion, Jeri Crandall and her children, Marc (Roxie), 
3Bob, Marty, and Candy Horton; and their families including many 
4loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Harold Hans Krecker, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Harold Krecker as an expression of 
12our deepest sympathy.
