| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Stanley Wade Franklin, Jr., who passed |
| 4 | | away on June 14, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Stanley Franklin, Jr. was born on May 19, 1989 in |
| 6 | | Belleville; his parents were Stanley and Ronda Franklin; he was |
| 7 | | baptized at an early age at St. John Missionary Baptist Church |
| 8 | | in Centreville; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Stanley Franklin, Jr. graduated from A.M. Jackson |
| 10 | | Elementary School and East St. Louis Senior High School in East |
| 11 | | St. Louis; he subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in |
| 12 | | Civil Engineering from Tennessee State University in |
| 13 | | Nashville, Tennessee; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Stanley Franklin, Jr. is survived by his parents; |
| 15 | | his sisters, Aisha (Al) Keeler and Jameelah Franklin; his |
| 16 | | brothers, Dakari Franklin and Amani Franklin; his grandfather, |
| 17 | | Oscar Brookins; his nephew, Jayvyn Nelson; and his many aunts, |
| 18 | | uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
