SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jeff Klaustermeier of Bethalto, who passed away on June 11, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Jeff Klaustermeier was born on March 28, 1969 in Springfield to James Klaustermeier and Machelle Hawkins; he married Lisa Mullink on October 8, 1994 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bunker Hill; and

WHEREAS, Jeff Klaustermeier was a manager/designer at the Great Central Lumber Company in Alton; and

WHEREAS, Jeff Klaustermeier was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Bethalto; he was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and he enjoyed being with his family and attending his children's sporting events and activities; and

WHEREAS, Jeff Klaustermeier was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Dorothy Klaustermeier; and

WHEREAS, Jeff Klaustermeier is survived by his wife, Lisa; his 2 children, Zachary and Kaylee Klaustermeier; his father and stepmother, Jim and Liz Klaustermeier; his mother, Mickey Hawkins; his grandmother, Peggy Nolan; a brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Carla Klaustermeier; his mother and father-in-law, Gene and Marie Mullink; a sister-in-law and her spouse, Gina and Steve Schwegel; a brother-in-law and his spouse, Jeff and Whitney Mullink; and his nieces and nephews, Jacob Schwegel, Cole Klaustermeier, Kyle and Ethan Mullink, Sydney Schwegel, Keaton Klaustermeier, Mallory Schwegel, and Rachel Schwegel; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jeff Klaustermeier, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jeff Klaustermeier as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
