SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Virginia L. Benson of Paddock Lake, 
4Wisconsin, who passed away on May 18, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Virginia Benson was born on August 2, 1940 in 
6Winthrop Harbor; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Virginia Benson traveled around and lived in 
8various places, including the Zion area and Paddock Lake since 
92007, after moving there from Neosho, Missouri; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Virginia Benson was preceded in death by a sister, 
11Ruth Humphrey; 2 brothers, Tom Goodwin and Richard "Duke" 
12Goodwin; and her parents, Charles and Frances Goodwin; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, Virginia Benson is survived by 3 sons, Donald Mark 
14(Rita) Hewkin, David Shaun Hewkin, and Duane Scott Hewkin; 5 
15grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Charlie 
16(Mary) Goodwin and Howard (Kathy) Goodwin; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
19family and friends, mourn the passing of Virginia L. Benson;
