| 3 | | learn of the death of Louis A. Ciuffini of Lockport, who passed |
| 4 | | away on May 16, 2014; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Louis Ciuffini was born in Joliet and was a |
| 6 | | lifelong Lockport resident; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Louis Ciuffini served in the Civilian |
| 8 | | Conservation Corps; he also served in the United States Navy |
| 9 | | during World War II; and |
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Louis Ciuffini was the owner and operator of |
| 11 | | Ciuffini Trucking for many years until his retirement in 1985; |
| 12 | | and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Louis Ciuffini was a member of St. John Vianney |
| 14 | | Church, Joliet Veterans of Foreign Wars Stone City Post #2199, |
| 15 | | Lockport American Legion John Olson Post #18, the Fairmont Rod |
| 16 | | and Gun Club, the Joliet East Side Athletic Club, the Belmont |
| 17 | | Athletic Club, and the American-Italian Cultural Society; and

| 18 | | WHEREAS, Louis Ciuffini was preceded in death by his loving |
| 19 | | wife, Fern (nee Bell); his parents, Uldirico and Mary (nee Di |
| 20 | | Domenic); 3 sisters, Frances, Julia, and Minnie; and 3 |
