SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Endia Mickey Martin, who passed away on 
4April 28, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Endia Martin was born on May 26, 1999 in Chicago; 
6her parents were Jonie Dukes and Monroe Martin; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Endia Martin graduated from Dewey Grammar School 
8in the spring of 2013; after starting her first day of school 
9as a freshman at CVS, she transferred to Tilden High School; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Endia Martin will be fondly remembered by all who 
12knew and loved her for her confident, bubbly, and outgoing 
13demeanor; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Endia Martin is survived by her mother and 
15stepfather, Jones Dukes-Kennedy (Kent); her father, Monroe 
16Martin; 4 siblings, Tinesa (Teddy), Mykia, Darius, and Kenya 
17(Coco); a special nephew, Terrion; a special niece, Torriana; a 
18special friend, Tyree Humphries; and many other family members 
19and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Endia Mickey Martin;

6sympathy.
