SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Marilyn W. Cawiezel of Lisle, who passed 
4away on April 21, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Marilyn Cawiezel was a resident of Lisle since 
61956; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Marilyn Cawiezel was a graduate of Creighton 
8University, which led to a successful career in advertising and 
9journalism; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Marilyn Cawiezel was an active parishioner at St. 
11Joan of Arc Church since 1956; she also served as a Charter 
12Member of the Lisle Heritage Society, President and Trustee of 
13the Lisle Library District, and a Member and President of the 
14Lisle Woman's Club; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Marilyn Cawiezel was preceded in death by her 
16parents, Raymond and Catheryn Wilkinson; her beloved husband, 
17Albert F. Cawiezel; a nephew, John Wilkinson, Jr.; and a 
18great-nephew, John Closner; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Marilyn Cawiezel is survived by 2 loving children, 
20A. (Patrick) Cawiezel and Catheryn Cawiezel; a sister, Beverly

1(the late Wally) Closner; a brother, John Wilkinson; 6 nieces; 
2and 4 nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Marilyn W. Cawiezel; 
6and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Marilyn Cawiezel as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
