SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Earl Hildemar Leafblad of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on April 8, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Earl Leafblad was born on July 13, 1929 in Mason, 
6Wisconsin and grew up in Bayfield; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Earl Leafblad worked with his family at Leafblad 
8Landscaping; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Earl Leafblad was a member of Immanuel Lutheran 
10Church for over 50 years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Earl Leafblad was preceded in death by his wife of 
1239 years, Jean; daughter, Jina Riley; son, Wayne Earl Leafblad; 
13great-granddaughter, Te'Liyah Jones; parents, Hildemar and 
14Britta; and 9 siblings; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Earl Leafblad is survived by his children, Mark 
16(Marian) Leafblad, Charles Leafblad, and Jana Jones; 4 
17grandchildren, Shareace (Alphonso) Jackson, Robin Leafblad, 
18Robert (Lakesha) Jones, and Grace Leafblad; 10 
19great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Bell; son-in-law, J.J. 
20Riley; sisters-in-law, Delphine Leafblad and Clara Johnson;

1and a host of nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Earl Hildemar Leafblad, and extend our sincere condolences to 
5his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Earl Leafblad as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
