SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert C. Moehling of Marengo, who passed 
4away on March 28, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Moehling was born on March 31, 1928 in 
6Palatine to Henry and Henrietta Moehling; he graduated from 
7Palatine High School and was united in marriage to Vera C. 
8Moehling on October 16, 1948 in Palatine; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Moehling worked as a farmer in Union with 
10his wife; he served as Riley Township Road Commissioner for 
11over 20 years and drove trucks for John Rabe and Herb Swallace 
12Trucking companies; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Moehling had a great love of music and 
14played the concertina for most of his life; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Moehling was preceded in death by his 
16parents; his wife; and by his grandson, Kip; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Moehling is survived by his sons, Dale 
18(Brenda) Moehling, Don Moehling, and Dennis A. (Debbie) 
19Moehling; his grandchildren, Kimberlee (Jeff), Kacee (Peter), 
20Donald (Jody), Tim (Lisa), and Sara (Dimitri); his

1great-grandchildren, Kiylee, Kip, Karmin, Destinee, Adee, 
2Ashton, Aubrie, Kendall, Zander, and Nikos; and his brother, 
3Marvin (Dorothy) Moehling; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Robert C. Moehling, and express our sincere condolences to his 
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
8further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to Robert Moehling as an expression of our deepest 
11sympathy.
