| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Walter Pupich, who passed away on March |
| 4 | | 3, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Walter Pupich was born on August 3, 1936; his |
| 6 | | parents were Risto and Julia Pupich; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Walter Pupich was employed for many years behind |
| 8 | | the pharmacy counter at Braun Drugs and later Osco Pharmacy; he |
| 9 | | also served as School Board President of Huntley School |
| 10 | | District #158; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Walter Pupich was a dedicated member of the First |
| 12 | | United Methodist Church and was integral in the planning and |
| 13 | | execution of numerous church projects; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Walter Pupich will be remembered fondly for his |
| 15 | | great dignity, gentleness, and unending kindness; sitting on |
| 16 | | his desk at the time of his passing was his life motto, words |
| 17 | | by Francis of Assisi: "Preach the gospel at all times. If |
| 18 | | necessary, use words."; he accomplished this task even in the |
| 19 | | most difficult of times; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Walter Pupich is survived by his wife, June F. |
