SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Doris Mae Norberg, who passed away on 
4February 16, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Doris Norberg was born in Joliet; she was a 
6lifelong resident of the Joliet/New Lenox area; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Doris Norberg was a graduate of Joliet Township 
8High School; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Doris Norberg enjoyed traveling, family 
10get-togethers, and spending time with her grandchildren; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Doris Norberg was preceded in death by her 
12grandson, Chris Norberg; her parents, Lonnie and Irene (nee 
13Conant) Richardson; her sisters, Irene (Charles) Wiles and Anna 
14Marie Karolcik; and her brothers, Lonnie (Mary Alice), Robert, 
15and John Richardson; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Doris Norberg is survived by her loving husband of 
1760 years, Howard Norberg; her daughters, Judy Norberg and Jill 
18(Ken) Siwinski; her sons, Timothy (the late Cindy) Norberg and 
19Thomas (Kathy) Norberg; her grandchildren, Lindsey and Lauren 
20Norberg, Kyle and Jake Siwinski, and Marja Norberg; her sister,

1Nancy (the late Don) Birsa; and her many nieces, nephews, and 
2cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Doris Mae Norberg; and 
6be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Doris Norberg as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
