SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ngoc C. Tran of Grayslake, who passed 
4away on January 29, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ngoc Tran was born on January 6, 1931 in Hanoi, 
6Vietnam; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Ngoc Tran worked as a physicist; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Ngoc Tran was a member of the Phuoc Hau Buddhist 
9Temple in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Ngoc Tran was preceded in death by his parents; 
11his 2 brothers; his sister; and his grandson, Zachary; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Ngoc Tran is survived by his wife of 52 years, Di 
13Duong Tran; his children, Andrea Anh (Trung) Tran-Lu, Jayson 
14Quang (Michelle) Tran, and Robin Tu (Shelly) Tran; and his 
15grandchildren, Allison Lien Tran, Kevin Bao Lu, Zachary Nam 
16Tran, Alex Viet Lu, Rebecca Mai Tran, Olivia Lan Tran, and 
17Eliana Anh Dao Tran; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Ngoc C. Tran, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
2friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Ngoc Tran as an expression of our
