| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Raymond G. Chisholm of Cary, who passed |
| 4 | | away on February 4, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Chisholm was born on February 16, 1941 in |
| 6 | | Pampa, Texas to Raymond M. "Jack" and Minerva Chisholm; he |
| 7 | | served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; after |
| 8 | | his service, he attended Texas Tech University and the |
| 9 | | University of Georgia, where he received his master's degree; |
| 10 | | and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Chisholm worked for the Arlington Heights |
| 12 | | Police Department for 20 years; he owned and operated the |
| 13 | | Colonel in Ringwood for a number of years and served on the |
| 14 | | Cary Village Board for 8 years; he was active in the McHenry |
| 15 | | County Republican Party; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Chisholm enjoyed traveling, especially to |
| 17 | | Branson, Missouri and Hawaii; he had a special love of dogs and |
| 18 | | supported animal rescue services in the area; he was a member |
| 19 | | of Cary AmVets; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Chisholm was preceded in death by his |
| 21 | | parents; and
