| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Tracey Darlene Williams of Danville, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 12, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Tracey Williams was born in Danville on November |
| 6 | | 26, 1963 to Oscar L., Sr. and Maddie L. (nee Humphries) |
| 7 | | Williams; she attended Garfield and North Ridge junior high |
| 8 | | schools and was a 1981 graduate of Danville High School, where |
| 9 | | she was a member of the Pompettes Squad; she attended Danville |
| 10 | | Area Community College and Parkland College in Champaign; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Tracey Williams worked at Walgreens Accounting |
| 12 | | and the Danville Housing Authority and then worked as an |
| 13 | | administrative assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at |
| 14 | | Carle Hospital in Champaign; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Affectionately known as "Trace", "Day-dee", and |
| 16 | | "Chick-a-doc", Tracey Williams enjoyed shopping, music, |
| 17 | | movies, concerts, dining out, traveling, and entertaining |
| 18 | | family and friends; she was a talented interior decorator, |
| 19 | | gardener, and all around "Miss Fix-It"; she was a member of |
| 20 | | Bethel AME Church in Champaign; and

| 21 | | WHEREAS, Tracey Williams was preceded in death by her son, |
