| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Jerry P. Perrone of Geneva, who passed |
| 4 | | away on January 19, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Perrone was born in Geneva on March 5, 1925 |
| 6 | | to Patsy and Theresa (nee Benedetto) Perrone; he served his |
| 7 | | country in the United States Marines during World War II; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Perrone worked alongside his father at the |
| 9 | | City Barber Shop; he was a barber and co-owner and was a |
| 10 | | fixture of the community for over 75 years; he was active with |
| 11 | | the auxiliary police; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Perrone was a longtime member of the |
| 13 | | American Legion in Geneva; he enjoyed bowling, playing poker, |
| 14 | | and tending to his garden; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Perrone was preceded in death by is wife of |
| 16 | | 62 years, Teelie (nee Lencioni); his parents; and his sisters, |
| 17 | | Anne Perrone and Mary McConnaughay; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Perrone is survived by his children, Cindy |
| 19 | | (Jack Claypoole) Grandin, Nancy (Jeff) Schaal, Penny (John) |
| 20 | | Foiles, Judy (Todd Weinstein) Mastroni, Jerry (Diane) Perrone, |
