SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Geanie S. Kuehnau of Palatine, who passed 
4away on December 25, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Geanie Kuehnau was born on September 5, 1947 in 
6Bad Kreuznach, Germany; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Geanie Kuehnau was preceded in death by her 
8parents, Theodore and Anastazia Gera, and her mother-in-law and 
9father-in-law, John and Mildred Kuehnau; and

  
 
10    WHEREAS, Geanie Kuehnau is survived by her husband, Kenneth 
11M. Kuehnau, Sr.; her children, Sandra (Mark) Meyer, Kenneth M. 
12Kuehnau, Jr., and Deborah (Leslie DeMonte) Kuehnau; her 
13grandchildren, Meghan, Michelle, and Mason Meyer; her 
14siblings, Sonia Rutka-Foss and Roman Gera; and her nieces and 
15nephews, Kristin Deegan, Robert Kuehnau, Richard Mele, 
16Danielle Arends, Ashley Gera, Phillip Rutka, and Kenneth Rutka; 
17therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
20family and friends, mourn the passing of Geanie S. Kuehnau; and
