     | 
| 2 |  |     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  | 
| 3 |  | learn of the death of  Francis Terry Busch of Hudson, who passed  | 
| 4 |  | away on November 3, 2013; and
     | 
| 5 |  |     WHEREAS, Francis Busch was born on January 17, 1934 in Blue  | 
| 6 |  | Island; his parents were Francis and Agnes Lenzi Busch; he  | 
| 7 |  | married Barbara Ott on August 29, 1953 in LaGrange; and
     | 
| 8 |  |     WHEREAS, Francis Busch graduated from Lyons Township High  | 
| 9 |  | School in LaGrange; he subsequently attended the University of  | 
| 10 |  | Illinois, earning a Bachelor of Science in vocational  | 
| 11 |  | agriculture in 1956; and
     | 
| 12 |  |     WHEREAS, Francis Busch taught vocational agriculture at  | 
| 13 |  | Lexington High School from 1956 until 1961, when he began a new  | 
| 14 |  | career as a territory sales manager with Cargill Seeds; he  | 
| 15 |  | remained in sales as a top salesman for 35 years; he also  | 
| 16 |  | worked as a special markets manager with Cargill until his  | 
| 17 |  | retirement in 1993; and
     | 
| 18 |  |     WHEREAS, Francis Busch was a member of St. Mary's Catholic  | 
| 19 |  | Church in Lexington; he also served on the school board,  | 
| 20 |  | assisted with the formation of the Jaycees, helped to bring the  | 
| 21 |  | Patton Cabin to Lexington Park, and served on the Lexington  |
