SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Frank Wesley Foehr of Bloomington, who passed away on November 4, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Frank Foehr was born on May 1, 1942 to Frank Roman and Elsie Schnake Foehr; he graduated from Ashley High School in 1960 and received his Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 1964; he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loyola University Chicago; he served his country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 as head of the dental clinic in Fort Huachucha, Arizona and then in Nah Trang, Vietnam; he was transferred to Massachusetts as head of Natick Dental Clinic and Lab before moving to Bloomington in June 1971 to start his private dental practice; and

WHEREAS, Frank Foehr's most cherished moments were spent vacationing with his family and enjoying their company; and

WHEREAS, Frank Foehr was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Frank Foehr is survived by his wife, Ruthann Foehr; his sons, Christian Foehr, Derek (Leia) Foehr, and Baine Foehr; his daughters, Abby (David) Serrano and Gena Foehr; his brother, John (Regina) Foehr; his grandchildren, Suzanne Foehr, Tyler Foehr, Julian Serrano, Veda Serrano, Victor Serrano, Brazil Foehr, and Samuel Foehr; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Frank Wesley Foehr, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented the family of Frank Foehr as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
