SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Lawrence T. Frank, who passed away on 
4October 29, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank was born on May 4, 1935 in 
6Rochester, Michigan; his parents were Joseph T. and Katherine 
7Dykstra Frank; he married Valerie B. Schmidt on July 7, 1956; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank retired from the State of Illinois 
10after many years of service as an aeronautical engineer; he was 
11also a part-time farmer; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank was a member of Good Shepherd 
13Lutheran Church in Rochester; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank was preceded in death by his 
15brother, David Frank; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Lawrence Frank is survived by his wife, Valerie; 
17his son, Todd (Mary Lou) Frank; his daughters, Terri (Robert) 
18Fleck and Tricia Garrett; his 11 grandchildren; his 3 
19great-grandchildren; his sisters, Arnolda Frank and Henrietta 
20Holefca; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Lawrence T. Frank; and 
4be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Lawrence Frank as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
