| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Edith Javorik of Aurora, who passed away |
| 4 | | on July 18, 2013; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Edith Javorik was born on January 26, 1932 in |
| 6 | | Hungary to Lajos and Gizella (nee Domonkos) Schinkovits; she |
| 7 | | and her husband, Thomas immigrated to the United States in |
| 8 | | 1957; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Edith Javorik had a Master's Degree in |
| 10 | | Aero-Photogrammetry; she was employed for many years with the |
| 11 | | City of Aurora as a civil engineer; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Edith Javorik enjoyed tennis and gardening and was |
| 13 | | a devoted grandmother; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Edith Javorik was preceded in death by her |
| 15 | | parents; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Edith Javorik is survived by her husband of 55 |
| 17 | | years, Thomas; her daughter, Kathleen (Matthew) Rieser; her |
| 18 | | grandchildren, Ariana, Tomas, and Andrea Rieser; and her |
| 19 | | nephew, Alex Javorik; therefore, be it
