SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Shirley Gene Miller, who passed away on 
4September 8, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Shirley Miller was born on August 29, 1934 in 
6Chicago; her parents were James and Josephine (nee Florek) 
7Inman; she married Don Miller on July 29, 1967 in Chicago; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Shirley Miller was a graduate of Visitation High 
9School in Chicago; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Shirley Miller was a member of St. Ambrose 
11Catholic Church in Godfrey; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Shirley Miller was preceded in death by her 
13parents and her brother, Richard Inman; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Shirley Miller is survived by her husband, Don; 
15her daughters, Claudine Miller (David Flanagan) and Laurel 
16(James) Montecinos; her grandchildren, Nicolas, Josie, and 
17Daniel Hartman; and her nephew, David (Emily) Inman, and their 
18children, Richard and Peter Inman; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Shirley Gene Miller; 
3and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Shirley Miller as an expression of 
6our sympathy.
