SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Michael Tobin Shklair of Beach Park, who 
4passed away on September 10, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Shklair was born on January 6, 1969 in 
6Waukegan; he was a resident of the Waukegan area his entire 
7life; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Michael Shklair was employed with Waukegan Unit 
9School District 60 as a printer-duplicator for 29 years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Michael Shklair was a musician and enjoyed playing 
11his guitar and writing songs; he also loved to travel; in 1978, 
12he and his partner, Neil Flynn, won the Illinois State 
13Championship for Humorous Duet Acting; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Michael Shklair is survived by his parents, Irving 
15and Korina (nee Haritonoss) Shklair; his brother, Daniel Mark 
16(Karen Katz) Shklair; his sister, Victoria (Jeff) Wiedmeyer; 
17his nephew, Jackson Wiedmeyer; and his beloved pet, Buddy; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Michael Tobin Shklair; 
2and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Michael Shklair as an expression of
