SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Vincent A. Iuorio; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Vincent Iuorio served his country as a member of 
5the United States Army during World War II; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Vincent Iuorio was employed with United Airlines 
7for over 40 years; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Vincent Iuorio was a longtime parishioner and 
9catechist at St. Theresa Catholic Church; he was also a member 
10of the Knights of Columbus Holy Ghost Council #4977; and

  
 
11    WHEREAS, Vincent Iuorio was the beloved husband of Anne 
12Therese (nee Collins); the loving father of Alex (Barbara), Tom 
13(Cathy), Vince (Julie), Mary Frances (Paul) Preissing, Jim 
14(Margaret), Paul, and Steven "Chip" Iuorio; the cherished 
15grandfather of Anna, Michael J., Sarah (fiance, Ryan Davis), 
16Melissa, Alex, Michael V., Katie, Abby, Clare, and Grace; the 
17dear brother of the late Marie (Louis Richard) Schmitt and 
18Sarah Iuorio; and the fond uncle of Rich (Stacey) Schmitt; he 
19will be dearly missed by his many other nieces, nephews, 
20cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Vincent A. Iuorio; and 
4be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Vincent Iuorio as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
