SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Mildred "Millie" McNicholas (nee 
4Paisley); and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mildred McNicholas was raised in Michigan and 
6married Thomas, an avid University of Notre Dame fan; she and 
7her husband always enjoyed the rivalry games between Notre Dame 
8and Michigan State University; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Mildred McNicholas loved her family, cooking, and 
10reading; and


  
 
11    WHEREAS, Mildred McNicholas was the devoted wife of the 
12late Thomas; the cherished mother of Peggy, Jack (Eileen), 
13Coleen (Al) Janiszewski, Mary Beth (Ed) Alswede, Michael 
14(Jeanette), and the late Timothy; the adoring grandma of Tom 
15McNicholas, Tim, Dan, Jim, Meghan, and the late Lindsay 
16Janiszewski, and Kelly and Elyse Alswede; and loving aunt and 
17friend to many; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Mildred "Millie" McNicholas, and extend our sincere 
21condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
