SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Danny Gonzalez of South Elgin, who passed 
4away on August 1, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Danny Gonzalez was born on July 21, 1964 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Maria and Pablo Gonzalez; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Danny Gonzalez served as a Firefighter/Paramedic 
8with the Lake Zurich Fire Department for 13 years; he served on 
9the Department's training and safety committee; he also served 
10as a lead instructor with the Lake County and McHenry County 
11Technical Rescue Teams; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Danny Gonzalez served as President of the Illinois 
13Associated Fire Fighters Local 3291; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Danny Gonzalez was preceded in death by his 
15father; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Danny Gonzalez is survived by his wife of 24 
17years, Pamela Gonzalez; his daughters, Hillary Miller and 
18Miranda Govea; his sons, Michael Pace and Cayetano Govea; his 
19grandchildren, Cordarius Miller, Anthony Marples, Janessa 
20Pace, and Juliana Pace; his sisters, Dee Hernandez and Nancy

1Rodriguez; and his brother, Louciano Gonzalez; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Danny Gonzalez; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Danny Gonzalez as an expression of 
8our sympathy.
