SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Wanda L. Frank of Waukegan, formerly of 
4Novi, Michigan, who passed away on June 4, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Wanda Frank (nee Woodcox) was born on June 10, 
61929, in Detroit, Michigan, to Vernon and Alma May Woodcox; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Wanda Frank worked at the Ypsilanti Press for many 
8years; after retiring, she volunteered at Kenwood Church of 
9Christ in Livonia, Michigan, working in the office and cooking 
10for special occasions; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Wanda Frank, affectionately known as "Lee",  
12attended Community Christian Church in Waukegan and enjoyed 
13taking several cruises and toured from Europe to Hawaii; she 
14loved to read and was an avid Detroit sports fan, especially 
15the Tigers; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Wanda Frank was preceded in death by her son, 
17David Frank; her brothers, Lloyd and Bill Woodcox; and her 
18parents; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Wanda Frank is survived by her children, Bob 
20(Cheryl) Frank, Bill Frank (Gail Stevenson), Toni (Rick)

1Wojcik, Dan (Debbie) Frank, and Lisa (Gary) Edwards; her 6 
2grandchildren; and her 7 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Wanda L. Frank, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Wanda Frank as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
