SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Bart J. Winn Jr. of Barrington, who 
4passed away on June 20, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bart Winn Jr. was born on May 6, 1935, in Chicago 
6to Bart J. Sr. and Dorothy Winn; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Bart Winn Jr. worked for more than 30 years on the 
8Chicago Stock Exchange and was a proud member of the United 
9States Marine Corps; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Bart Winn Jr. loved golf, basketball, and 
11following the Chicago Cubs; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Bart Winn Jr. was preceded in death by his 
13parents; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Bart Winn Jr. was the husband of Barbara A. (nee 
15Siebert); the father of Michael J. (Dorothy) Winn and Katie 
16(Michael) King; the grandfather of Abby, Joe, Aidan, Anna Mae, 
17Keira, and Owen; the brother of Bob (Kathy) Winn and Chip "Sis" 
18(Mike) Wells; and uncle to many nieces and nephews and friend 
19to many; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Bart J. Winn Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Bart Winn Jr. as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
